God’s Word

Luke 13:6-9  NKJV

6 He also spoke this parable: "A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard, and he came seeking fruit on it and found none.

7 Then he said to the keeper of his vineyard, 'Look, for three years I have come seeking fruit on this fig tree and find none. Cut it down; why does it use up the ground?'

8 But he answered and said to him, 'Sir, let it alone this year also, until I dig around it and fertilize it.

9 And if it bears fruit, well. But if not, after that you can cut it down.' "

Thank You

To the members at East Gadsden Church of Christ,

I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate your support of the work in Guyana and apologize for the tardiness of this note.  There is so much work that can be done there that it is often overwhelming.  I look forward to making many more trips to Guyana over the next several years.  The opportunity for the growth of the Lord’s church is amazing.  I also hope some in the congregation would be willing to make the sacrifice of time and energy to go on one of these mission trips.  It is an eye opening and rewarding trip that will change the way many of us look at our own lives (I know it did for me).  Thank you again for the support!

                                           In Christian love,

Pat Lambert and Family
