New Members
Amy Stigers, who placed membership with East Gadsden about 2
years ago, would like to continue that since she and Katie are
once again living in Gadsden. Anna Sanders, after meeting with
Kerry Gott and Kip Jones, would also like to place membership
here and work under the leadership of the East Gadsden church of
Christ. We’re glad to have these young ladies with us and look
forward to working with them in God’s Kingdom. Their address is
the same as the Hodges’.
Calling All Volunteers!
The Bible Teacher’s Resource Rooms upstairs will be cleaned
and organized after morning worship this Sunday, Jan. 28. If you
have questions, please see Michael Long.
Ladies Bible Class
The Ladies Bible Class meets every Wednesday morning at 10:00
AM. Kim Gott is the teacher for this quarter.
Songbook Damage
About 10 songbooks have been maliciously torn up the past few
weeks. Let’s be aware and take care of our property.
2007 Church Budget
On Sunday, Feb. 4, our 2007 Church Budget will be presented to a
closed meeting of the congregation after morning worship. The
finance committee will be in charge of this presentation.
Greeting Cards
Thanks to Dawn Blair for preparing cards for the sick,
shut-in, etc. which are on the small table in the lobby.
Everyone be sure to go by and sign these cards.

Guyana Mission Trip
Remember in prayer Pat Lambert and James Pendley and others who
will be going on a Mission Trip to Guyana during February 12 – 26.
Teen Rally
Glenn and Cindy Colley will be here March 10 for our “Teen
Rally”. Let’s all - teens, parents, and all of us begin to pray and
plan for this event. We will meet Jan. 24 (Wed. Night) after Bible
class for a planning meeting and to make assignments.

Updates: Brad Dickson is better and was able to work a few hours
last week; Luke Dowdy, Georgia Parnell, Betty Freeman, Vanessa Jones,
Maggie Statom and Steve Conner were all back at services last week. Gene
Pennington is scheduled for a tumor biopsy on Tuesday, Jan. 23 at
Gadsden Regional, remember him and Betty in your prayers. Kim Gott and
Maxine Duke were both scheduled for eye surgery on Jan. 22. Remember
them in your prayers also.
In the Hospital: Martha Phillips is in Gadsden Regional Room
511-she was hoping to be discharged on Tues. Jan. 23. Margie Bly, mother
of Kris, is in an Arkansas hospital with bleeding ulcers; Marvin Wing,
brother of Elaine Kirkpatrick, is in Gadsden Regional room 725
