How’s Your Attitude?
It has often been said that our
attitude is our most important quality. This is true because the
thinking process determines the lifestyle. Solomon said, “Keep thy heart
with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life” (Proverbs
4:23). Our attitude describes our state of mind, disposition, mood,
outlook on life. It is simply how we think. As we think better our lives
will become better. This is the way it works. How’s your attitude? Here
are a few suggestions that I hope will help.
1. Do not become consumed with financial obligations. Be smart and live
within your means. Your mind must be on the spiritual rather than the
physical.
2. Do not allow yourself to become a pessimistic person. Look for the
best in others and believe that you can make a difference in this world.
Paul said, “I can do all things through Christ which strengthened me”
(Philippians 4:13).
3. Do no allow the hardships of life to keep you from seeing the beauty.
Life is hard, but it is also wonderful. You must dwell on the good and
not the bad.
4. Realize that you are important to God and that He is depending on
you. Find where you fit and get busy. Happy people are working people.
5. Spend your life trying to save souls. Keep wanting just one more.
With this purpose your attitude will be a blessing to the world.
What we all need is a better attitude. I sincerely hope these thoughts
will bless us all.

GOD’S WORD
John 2:13-17 NKJV
13 Now the Passover of the Jews
was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
14 And He found in the temple those who sold oxen and sheep and
doves, and the moneychangers doing business.
15 When He had made a whip of cords, He drove them all out of the
temple, with the sheep and the oxen, and poured out the changers'
money and overturned the tables.
16 And He said to those who sold doves, "Take these things away! Do
not make My Father's house a house of merchandise!"
17 Then His disciples remembered that it was written, "Zeal for Your
house has eaten Me up."

Thank You
Thank you so much for the cards,
calls and the offers to help with food and housework. The prayers
were greatly appreciated.
In Christian Love,
Betty Freeman
Thank you so much for all the
prayers, food, cards and phone calls during my time of surgery.
Thanks again,
Melanie Livingston
East Gadsden church of Christ ,
Thank you for your generous gift of school supplies for our
students. Many students do not come to school with what they need in
order to have a successful start to the school year. Your gift
supplied that need for them and they can feel they are on equal
footing with other students. Also, your gift relieves the stress for
the teachers who would probably go and buy supplies for their
students out of their own pockets in order for them to be able to do
their school work.
You are a valued and appreciated partner in education. With partners
like you, this will be a successful school year for us all.
Sincerely,
Micah Cook
